Een verbreding van de Brusselse ring zal leiden tot alleen maar meer verkeer, meer vervuiling en meer overlast. De extra rijstroken zullen bovendien vooral dienen om meer vrachtwagens te kunnen slikken die zullen worden aangetrokken door de logistieke plannen van de Vlaamse overheid. Ondergetekenden gaan niet akkoord met nog meer logistieke activiteiten en de aanleg van extra rijstroken. Wij eisen maatregelen die de files duurzaam aanpakken en zorgen voor minder auto- en vrachtwagenverkeer.
An enlargement of the ringway around Brussels (R0) will only lead to more traffic, more polution and more nuisance. Moreover, the extra lanes would especially have to facilitate the extra trucks that will be attracted by the logistic investment plans of the Flemish government. Undersigned do not agree with even more logistic activities and the building of extra lanes on the R0. We demand measures that tackle the congestion problems in a sustainable way and that lead to less cars and trucks on the road.
